Team Coaching

People at work have issues - both problems and opportunities. Often these surface during training courses. Team Coaching is an ideal way to move forward.

You've heard of one to one coaching. Team coaching follows the same principles, in this case, with a small group of people offering the coaching.

The person being coached introduces his or her topic - business and/or people related
The coaches listen, clarify, ask relevant and stretching questions, summarise, make suggestions and build on ideas
The goal is for the person being coached to make a commitment - his or her 'next steps'
The facilitator manages the process and gives feedback to the coaches
A review is built into the next session

For the person being coached - thinking through their issue and finding a way forward
For the coaches - understanding issues within the organisation, developing empathy, practising coaching skills
For all - networking and teambuilding

Bridgford Consultancy will help you to organise a team coaching initiative. All you need is:

A group of people who are willing to participate and who will be able to support and learn from each other
A quiet room
A minimum of an hour for each coaching session. This might be on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis
A trained facilitator

We can provide the facilitators or train your in-house facilitators.

Team Coaching is an ideal way for participants to progress issues, with the support of their peers, during a modular development programme eg leadership development
We will set aside an hour during each of the modules for a team coaching session, dividing into small groups
Each participant, over the duration of the development programme, will have the opportunity to be coached and to coach others
The facilitator gives feedback after each team coaching session so people's skills develop from module to module and more benefit is derived.
